Deputy Store Manager/Operations Manager at Hemköp Huddinge
We are now looking for a dynamic, ambitious, sales- and customer-focused individual who can take on the role of Deputy Store Manager/Operations Manager at Hemköp Huddinge with great commitment and drive.
Main Responsibilities
If you want overall responsibility and wish to lead employees, the role of Deputy Store Manager/Operations Manager is perfect for you. Together with the Store Manager, you will be responsible for both purchasing and sales, as well as ensuring that we achieve our jointly set goals. The customer is at the core of our business. Therefore, daily customer contact is essential to create a positive shopping experience. Together with your team, you will ensure profitability and ensure that routines are followed, as well as monitor gross profit and sales.
As a Deputy Store Manager/Operations Manager with us, you will have personnel responsibility. This includes ensuring that employees receive the right information, develop, and thrive, as well as ensuring that the store operates smoothly. You will also be part of the store's management team. A probationary period applies. Working hours are primarily scheduled during the day, but evenings and weekends may also occur. You will also be responsible for the store when the Store Manager is not present, in addition to being a member of the management team.
Hemköp Huddinge is a retailer-owned store that is part of the Food Market group. Food Market has undergone an exciting journey in recent years with its stores and has much fun ahead. The stores are run by ambitious owners who want to continue developing the store and its departments, so it is important that you find it challenging and exciting to work in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment. Food Market cares about the development of its staff, and there are good opportunities for internal growth.
What We Expect
Being interested in food, good at driving sales, and enjoying working with people is essential for the role. You should also have knowledge of the products within your area of responsibility. Additionally, you need to be familiar with basic economic key figures and have experience working in a store. We view it positively if you have completed industry-related training.
Since you will lead and develop your team, you need to be good at explaining routines, describing the goals the store should achieve, and outlining the challenges that exist. It is important that you thrive in a fast-paced environment. Equally important is your ability to delegate tasks, give and receive feedback, and not shy away from driving through changes. We prefer candidates with previous experience in similar roles.
