In home care, you have the opportunity to make a difference and contribute to a dignified and meaningful everyday life for our patients. We work in teams consisting of district nurses, registered nurses, and nursing assistants. We have close collaboration with the health centers and their doctors.

What we can offer you:

As a summer substitute in Markaryd Municipality, you are offered the opportunity to work as a nurse during the summer. We offer you employment at 100% and you have the option to work either the entire period or part of it. We work alternately during the day, evenings, and weekends. If you are a newly graduated nurse, you are offered to work only daytime on weekdays, so you are not alone in unfamiliar situations but always have a more experienced colleague to consult. At night, a nurse is responsible for the entire municipality and collaborates with the night patrol and staff at nursing homes. Please indicate in your application if you are interested in working at night.

Departments seeking summer substitutes are:

Home care in Markaryd Municipality is divided into two areas: south and north. The southern area covers Markaryd and surrounding areas, including LSS and elderly care homes. The northern area covers Strömsnäsbruk and Traryd and surrounding areas, including LSS and elderly care homes.

What does your workday look like?

The day begins with an initial planning and division of the day's tasks, followed by home visits to patients. You perform a variety of tasks such as dressing changes, medical assessments, and guidance for care staff, etc. In the evenings and weekends, one nurse works in the north and one in the south. This means that you always have a colleague to collaborate with.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse.
A driving license (B) is required.
As a person, we prefer that you are social, empathetic, resourceful, and able to work both independently and in a team. You should have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
