About Us

The Speech Therapy Clinic at Danderyd Hospital operates together with the Stockholm Municipality Bromma Language Preschool, which is part of the Marklandsbacken Preschool. At the language preschool, there are 8 children aged 3-5 years with a diagnosis of language disorder. Three educators and one speech therapist work closely together around the children. The language preschool activities are conducted in accordance with agreements written with the Health and Medical Care Administration in Region Stockholm that set requirements for the operations.

The work in the language preschool department requires that you enjoy working in a preschool environment and integrating speech therapy interventions into the preschool's daily activities. You are a person who can manage your own work while collaborating with other professionals in the team based on jointly set goals.

You will also be part of the Speech Therapy Clinic's language preschool team, which meets and collaborates regularly. Within the Speech Therapy Clinic, there are opportunities for further education in the form of clinic conferences, seminars, and other courses. Access to specialist competence in various speech therapy areas is also available among the Speech Therapy Clinic's employees.

Our Employment Offer

As an employee at Danderyd Hospital, you will receive compensation for healthcare, a wellness allowance of 5000 SEK per year, and access to the well-equipped staff gym, Lyftet, for only 540 SEK per year. Job Description

Your main tasks are:

• to continuously follow and evaluate the children's language development and set individual language goals for each child
• to conduct treatment individually and in groups
• to provide guidance and training in language-stimulating strategies and TAKK for guardians
• to guide colleagues in the team on speech therapy issues
• to design exercises and visual aids to be used in preschool activities
• as an experienced speech therapist, you will receive students

Qualifications

Licensed speech therapist. Experience working with speech and language disorders in children and experience working in preschools is an advantage.

About the Operations

We operate within the framework of care choice Stockholm, hospital agreements, and language preschool agreements. In addition to the main reception at Danderyd Hospital, the Speech Therapy Clinic has eight additional receptions in nearby municipalities and operations within inpatient care at Danderyd Hospital and Södersjukhuset. The Speech Therapy Clinic has over 100 employees and encompasses most speech therapy specialties for children and adults. The operations are process-oriented and focus significantly on clinical development and research. The Speech Therapy Clinic is part of the Neurology Operations USV unit (University Hospital Unit). The clinic receives a large number of students from the country's speech therapy programs every year. We provide the professional development that each employee's assignment requires.
