Långängens Gård is a fantastic 18th-century farm located in the Långängen nature reserve on Lidingö.

In addition to our popular restaurant/bistro, we host around 30 weddings each summer in our event venue “Ladan,” which dates back to the early 19th century, surrounded by a stunning environment that makes it incredibly attractive for wedding celebrations, as well as corporate events, film shoots, and more.

About the position:

We are looking for someone to take care of our wonderful couples and other clients, as well as to help plan and lead their special day. You will conduct tours for new brides and grooms and clients, selling our product. In addition to weddings, we also hold other events year-round such as dinners, birthday celebrations, memorials, and christening receptions. Before and during these events, you will act as the client's coordinator. At other times, you will work as the restaurant manager, responsible for tasks such as staff scheduling, recruitment, managing the email inbox, customer inquiries, and assisting in the restaurant's operations as needed. You will become an important part of the management team at Långängens Gård.

The workweek is typically Wednesday to Sunday during the day, but during the wedding season and events, evening and night work will also be required. The wedding season runs from May to September, and we will start planning and scheduling meetings from now on.

In the days leading up to an event, you will be hands-on with setup and preparations.

On the event day, you will be present during the day to ensure preparations go according to plan, and then you will be there in the evening to ensure perfect delivery and to be a support for the couples and toastmasters.
