At Norlandia Preschools, we are looking for someone who wants to work as a childcare worker at our preschool Norlandia Karlsro in Uppsala. We are looking for someone with a big heart and a desire to make a difference in children's lives. We would like you to be able to collaborate easily with others and have the ability to be flexible and responsive to adapt to children's needs.

Qualifications:

• We prefer that you have education or ongoing education as a childcare worker
• It is highly meritorious if you have previous experience working in preschool
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.
• You have good knowledge of the curriculum content and feel that you can contribute to the development of the organization together with colleagues in a collegial learning environment.
• You have good knowledge of Office365

Norlandia Preschools Karlsro is located in central Uppsala. In direct proximity to Karlsro, there are several parks that invite excursions, discoveries, and movement games.

At our preschool, we have a bilingual profile, which means that children receive a natural introduction to both Swedish and English in everyday life. Through play, song, stories, and conversations, English is woven in a playful and inspiring way, adapted to the children's age and language level.

At Norlandia Preschools, we offer you professional development every term based on the preschool's prioritized goals and initiatives. You will be part of our unique concepts, professional development days at the preschool, central initiatives, and offerings in our digital learning platform.

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, the EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to prove that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only occur after verification of the work permit, which is required according to the Aliens Ordinance.
