JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

At Furugården Care and Nursing Home, we work to provide safe and dignified care for our elderly. We are looking for several Finnish-speaking staff members who are proficient in the Finnish language to provide the best possible care and support to our Finnish-speaking clients. We are seeking six reliable, secure, and engaged staff members for our new Finnish department at Furugården Care and Nursing Home. As a care assistant, you will work with personal care such as personal hygiene, assistance during meals, and medication administration. Your role may also include being a contact person responsible for implementation plans and well-being for these clients, as well as communication with relatives. You will also be responsible for maintaining medical and social documentation for the client and possibly writing implementation plans. You will work based on a health-promoting approach with the client in focus in their home at the care and nursing home. We plan to have training initiatives in the Finnish language moving forward.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who can speak Finnish and has worked in care and nursing for at least six months. If you are trained as a nursing assistant or caregiver, that is even better and desirable. We want you to have or have had medication delegation previously.

If you also have training in basic hygiene routines, experience in writing journal notes, and can document, preferably in the Treserva system, it is meritorious for the position. If you can also create implementation plans and have been a primary care contact, it is desirable.
