Engaged Bus Drivers Wanted for Sollentuna and Stockholm City!

About the Position

The start is immediate. Until summer, we offer you a needs-based employment where you will receive a 12-day internal training to be ready to drive Vy Flygbussarna's scheduled traffic in Stockholm. During the introduction, you will receive all the training you need to feel secure behind the wheel with us. During the summer period, from week 24 to week 35, it is peak season, which means that we at Vy Buss really need you! This means that during the summer period, you will have the opportunity to work 100% on a temporary basis.

Job Responsibilities

You will operate Vy Flygbussarna's six different lines starting from the depots in City and Sollentuna, which determines where you start and end your workday. At Vy Buss, it is about more than just transporting passengers from point A to B:

You will do your best to make our passengers feel so welcome that they want to take the bus again
Drive safely and responsibly
Be a helping hand, both for your colleagues and our passengers
Ensure that the bus is on time – although we of course prioritize safety first

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who has:

D driver's license
Approved YKB for buses
Digital driver card for tachograph
Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
Good knowledge of English in speech as announcements are made in English
Ability to attend a 12-day full-time training
Access to a car (to reach the different depots at all times of the day)

As a person, you need to be positive with a willingness to help. During the summer, many travelers and tourists travel with us, so we see that you enjoy meeting new people. You have good communication skills where it comes naturally for you to inform and deliver excellent service. During each trip, safety and information messages in both Swedish and English must be conveyed to the passengers. To thrive with us, we also see that you are a team player with good collaboration skills who contributes to a good working environment. We value responsibility, accuracy, and a safe driving style in all situations as we always focus on the safety of our passengers.

It is an advantage if:

You have previous experience in passenger transport with buses
You have prior service experience
You master other languages besides Swedish and English
