Role of Securities Operations Specialist

The role of Securities Operations Specialist is the perfect step for you who have recently completed your finance education and have some work experience in the field. ABOUT THE POSITION

When the managers have made their trades, you as a Securities Operations Specialist, together with your team of five, will be responsible for everything else. You will work in an office in central Stockholm and belong to asset management. You will perform liquidity reconciliations with several deposit banks, which may involve currency transactions, transferring money between banks, etc. You will also work with bookings between different systems, which requires you to be structured and preferably proficient in Simcorp Dimension, which is the primary system you will be working in. The position is expected to be filled immediately and this is a consulting assignment to begin with. The assignment will extend for 6 months with the possibility of extension.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

The role will be broad where you will work with:

  • Liquidity reconciliations for Swedish and foreign transactions
  • Reconciliations with several deposit banks, involving currency transactions, transferring money, etc.
  • Bookings between different systems

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Has a post-secondary education in finance
  • At least 1 year of experience in administrative work within banking and/or finance.
  • Speaks English and Swedish fluently as these languages are used daily, especially English

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Experience with SimCorp Dimension.
  • Experience with CTM
  • Experience with CLS
