About the School Area

Söndrebalgs School is located outside Ängelholm, directly adjacent to the motorway. It is a F-9 school with approximately 500 students. There are two parallel classes in most grades, with a variation of about 18-26 students per class. The school unit employs about 60 staff members.

The school's development work takes place in areas such as increased accessibility, group dynamics, and motivation. Important and central parts of this development include training in collaboration skills and student-active learning.

We strive to develop an even more accessible learning environment and increased variation and differentiation in teaching to facilitate students' concentration, motivation, and endurance. When students feel they are learning, they feel good, and when they feel good, they learn more.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will teach our students in grades 4-9 in music, and mentorship is also included in the assignment. We have invested heavily in music equipment, which provides great opportunities to conduct creative and multifaceted music education.

QUALIFICATIONS

You must be a qualified teacher in music for grades 4-9, and if you are qualified to teach in additional subjects, we see that as a positive. Meritorious for the position is good teaching skills, experience, and education such as a process leader, as we strive for developed co-planning skills and collegial learning.

Your ability to drive learning and development of teaching and collegial learning in both smaller groups/teams and across the entire school unit is crucial for us. Our working method is characterized by interaction and collaboration, which means that these skills are of great importance to us.

If you are only qualified to teach music, the position's scope is 75%. If you are qualified in more subjects, the scope of the position may possibly be larger.
