Your tasks Are you a technically skilled and driven engineer with an interest in gas turbines? Do you want to work in an international environment and play a key role in ensuring high availability and operational reliability for our customers? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

About the role We are now looking for a Service Application Engineer for our team within SGT 800 Maintenance Engineering. The role means that you will become a technical expert and key person in our work with preventive maintenance of our products. You will work closely with our customers globally and be the technical representative in our projects.

This position will give you a comprehensive understanding of the entire SGT-800, including the Core Engine and its auxiliary equipment.

Your tasks include:

• Preparing technical documentation for planned inspections for our customers with Long Term Program (LTP) contracts.
• Identifying and recommending improvements and upsell opportunities.
• Providing technical support to our LTP customers and acting as a contact person for technical inquiries.
• Leading and coordinating the technical aspects of our maintenance deliveries.
• Contributing with technical documentation for quotes and risk assessments.
• Participating in customer meetings as a technical representative.
• Supporting inspection work remotely and updating product data after inspections.
• Working in various IT systems such as SAP and PLM2020.
• Performing approximately 1-5 trips per year to meet customers and discuss maintenance plans.

Your profile

• Experience in commissioning or installation of SGT 800 or other relevant technical background in gas turbines.
• A technical education (e.g., a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical, electrical, or control engineering) or equivalent work experience.
• A strong technical interest and willingness to learn more.
• Good collaboration skills and a service-oriented attitude.
• Experience working in IT systems and administrative processes.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Experience with SAP and PLM Team Center is an advantage.
