Scandic Wallin is located, as the name suggests, on Wallingatan, which borders between City and Vasastan in Stockholm. The location is centrally situated with everything from cultural experiences, shopping streets, and other attractions right around the corner. Inside, the decor pays homage to modern art and design, with warm colors and intriguing shapes – the interior is a small nod to the building's designer, Sven “Mr Funkis” Markelius. After two years of extensive renovations, Scandic Wallin reopened in a new outfit on March 26, 2025, and now it’s time for us to seek more colleagues.

What does the role entail?

Your tasks include preparing and serving food and drinks from our bar, as well as providing guests with a positive reception and good service. The role also includes working with upselling and being responsible for your own cash register. You will also support the hotel team with other tasks as needed.

Who are you?

Since you are the first guest meets in our restaurant and bar, it is essential that you have a friendly and warm demeanor and are attentive to details and guests' needs. You have a passionate interest in food and drinks and enjoy order and cleanliness, both in your own work and that of your colleagues. All to provide guests with a fantastic bar experience.

We would like you to have experience in serving, bartending, and basic food handling. Your personal qualities and attitude are the most important to us. To fit the role, you need to be a good team player who takes significant responsibility for your tasks and the overall result. It is also important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel’s guests.

Information about the position:

The position is extra as needed and the work involves evenings and weekends.

You report to our Front Office Manager as the bar and reception are connected.
