Special Education Teacher for our Primary School

We are growing and are now looking for an engaged special education teacher! Your Responsibilities

• Ensure that teaching follows the applicable curriculum, school goals, and quality standards.
• Plan, implement, document, and evaluate teaching together with the team.
• Build good relationships with students and actively involve them in learning to strengthen their skills, confidence, and motivation.
• Approach students, guardians, and colleagues with a positive attitude and a solution-focused approach.
• Be responsible for ensuring that students achieve their learning goals and develop to their full potential.

Qualifications

• Qualified special education teacher or licensed subject teacher with relevant experience.
• Strong communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Ability to plan, organize, and collaborate in a team.
• Good knowledge of English is an advantage as we are an international school.

About the Role

As a special education teacher for grades 6–9, you will work closely with students in smaller groups and focus on pedagogical support rather than administration. Teaching primarily takes place in Swedish, but an international environment means that English is also an important part of the work.
