We are looking for a self-driven and responsible accounting assistant with a high level of service for the engineering firm KFS AnläggningsKonstruktörer in Solna. You will work in a broad and varied role where you will be responsible for accounts payable, invoicing, accounting, and payroll.

KFS was founded in 1991 by three dedicated engineers who wanted to devote their time to technology. This still permeates the entire business, and the company always prioritizes good technical solutions. The assignments are spread across the country – from the docks of Luleå through hydropower dams in the interior of Norrland, water reservoirs in Stockholm to the port of Åhus. KFS often has the privilege of collaborating with its clients to participate in projects from the planning stage to the completion of the facility. This has meant that they have good experience in managing projects across various stages and areas of operation.

The company is employee-owned and has about 40 employees. The office is located in Solna with good transport links.

Job Responsibilities

In the role of accounting assistant, your responsibilities range from accounts receivable and accounts payable to ongoing bookkeeping, monthly reconciliations, and payroll.

Your tasks include, among other things:

• Accounts payable – receiving, registering, paying, and re-invoicing expenses and subcontractors
• Invoicing outgoing customer invoices
• Checking and registering bank giro payments
• Ongoing accounting and monthly reconciliation of bank accounts, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
• Tax declaration
• Assisting with year-end closing and annual reports
• Payroll – registering and paying salaries as well as compiling sick statistics, reporting occupational pensions to Collectum and statistics to SCB
• Other administration

The position includes being a backup for the office assistant and answering the switchboard, as well as assisting with other tasks within the company as needed.

KFS works with the business systems Visma Control, Visma DCE, and Visma PX, as well as Crona Lön.

Qualifications

A requirement for taking on the role of accounting assistant is that you have an education in finance equivalent to at least a high school diploma in economics and have 3-5 years of experience in the above tasks. You have good knowledge of financial flows and have independently worked with accounting in a smaller company. You are familiar with various business systems, and it is an advantage if you have worked with Visma.

• Very good knowledge of the Office suite (especially Excel) is a requirement
• Very good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form is a requirement
