Consultant in Physical Inventory Accounting
Do you have a background in finance or logistics and enjoy analyzing large datasets? Would you like to work in a dynamic environment where you can take responsibility and develop processes? We are now looking for a consultant in physical inventory accounting for an international company in the energy and trading sector.
ABOUT THE POSITION
You will play a key role in physical inventory accounting, where you will be responsible for ensuring accurate reconciliations of physical inventory, including oil products. You will work with financial closing, analysis, and reporting of volume movements both internally and externally, as well as contribute to developing processes, methods, and systems for more efficient inventory reporting.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Tasks
- Drive the financial closing work for physical inventory accounting and ensure that inventory figures align with the company's other financial reporting.
- Compile and report volume movements to authorities such as SCB and the Energy Agency.
- Participate in improvement work to develop working methods, systems, and reporting routines.
- Perform weekly reconciliations of inventory and volume inventories.
- Collaborate with other departments and sections within the company to ensure effective communication and reporting.
- Compile and report import prices to SCB.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Has an academic degree in finance and/or logistics.
- Previous experience in inventory accounting and controlling.
- Has experience working with data collection, processing, and analysis in Excel.
- Has good knowledge of MS Office.
- Communicates fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
It is an advantage if you have:
- Experience with regulatory reporting and regulations in the area.
- Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations.
- Experience working in systems such as M3 and Horizon.
