About the position

As a cook at Atlasvägen, you are responsible for planning, preparing, ordering, and cooking nutritious and tasty meals for our residents, focusing on lunch and dinner. You are responsible for weekly menus. You ensure that all meals follow current dietary and nutritional recommendations and take into account individual needs, such as special diets and allergies.

Working hours: Daytime schedule Monday to Friday

Employment rate: 100%

Salary: Individual salary setting according to collective agreement.

Start date and duration: 250610 - 250810, 2 months

What does the role entail?

As a cook with us, you will have a varied and rewarding job. Your tasks include:

• Planning and preparing lunch, desserts, and dinner for approximately 60 customers.
• Ensuring that the menus are balanced and follow the Food Agency's guidelines for elderly care.
• Adapting meals based on residents' dietary preferences, medical needs, and allergies.
• Planning and participating in purchases based on prepared menus.
• Following food safety routines according to HACCP.
• Being responsible for ordering and receiving raw materials.
• Being responsive to requests for food and dining experiences from our customers.
• Collaborating with nurses, team leaders, and care staff to create the best possible taste and dining experiences for our customers.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are looking for someone who is a team player with a big heart and a responsible attitude. You enjoy collaborating but can also take your own initiative and work independently.

It is a plus if you have experience working as a cook in elderly care, and we believe you are good at building relationships and keeping spirits high in all situations!

We are looking for you who:

• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Are a trained cook, preferably with experience in large kitchens or elderly care.
• Have knowledge of special diets, such as texture-adapted food and allergies.
• Have experience working according to HACCP and good hygiene routines.
• Have good communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
• Can work structured and independently under time pressure.
• Have an economic mindset.
