Licensed Teacher SFI, Basic Swedish and Swedish for High School

Astar in Avesta is looking for you as a teacher with good hospitality, who is passionate about distance education and who wants to help develop the star in every individual. We believe that everyone has dreams and visions of who they want to be and that everyone deserves a second chance. Everyone has an inherent talent and the potential to succeed, and you are the first piece of the puzzle on their journey to a new life.

The Assignment

The position is for you who are a qualified, licensed teacher in SFI, basic Swedish, and Swedish at the high school level for classroom teaching (and possibly some distance education in Swedish for high school if qualified) at Astar in Avesta. It may be relevant if you have additional qualifications in high school subjects.

Education and Experience

You have teaching experience, good knowledge of the teaching assignment, leadership & stimulation, special adaptations, and have flexibility in relation to your students.

It is a requirement that you have a teaching license and it is advantageous if you have experience in adult education, distance studies, special educational competence, and/or teaching in ORK.

You need to be accustomed to taking your own initiatives and want to develop and adapt your work with the students' best progression in mind.

A requirement for the position is to be able to present both Swedish teaching credentials, qualifications in subjects, and a criminal record extract.

The scope of the position is determined by your qualifications (70-100%)
