About the role

As an employee with us, you represent Hornbach and are a role model in terms of commitment, drive, and customer service. We are now looking for a team leader for our flooring and tile department.

In the role of team leader, you will have the overall responsibility to lead and coach your employees in the department, while striving daily to provide the best possible customer service and advice to our customers.

Examples of tasks

Active sales of the product range within the Flooring/Tiles department
Opportunities to be inspired, learn from colleagues, and exchange solid knowledge and experience within the product area.
Responsible for incoming goods and displays, as well as for renovations and rebuilds in the department
Analyze the department's product presentation.
Assist in other departments as needed

Your profile

High school education or equivalent and experience in retail.
Relevant work experience/education in flooring and tiles
Passionate about providing our customers with the best possible service
Realize the customer's project through professional advice on our wide product range
You are stress-resistant, flexible, and solution-oriented
Good physical condition as some departments require heavy lifting
Forklift license (A1-A4 & B1-B4) and forklift experience are advantageous
Previous leadership experience is a requirement
