We are now looking for a qualified teacher in SO and Swedish for grades 4-6, with a Swedish teaching license.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date at the beginning of the term in August. A probationary period applies for the first 6 months.

Job Description

You will be part of a team with both special educators and subject teachers and will need to work in teams around specific students but independently when required.

We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference in students' lifelong learning. Our operations are characterized by a positive outlook, and we have a strong belief in students' abilities. A strong value base and positive view of students are very important to us. Together with your colleagues, you will work to create a safe, structured, developing, and stimulating learning environment for the students. You will work together in teams with teaching colleagues and support educators. Our mission is to jointly lead and support students in their social and academic development. In the team, educators help each other with planning, teaching, and students' school day. Mentorship for a class is included in the position.

Who are you?

You have a teaching degree for the subjects SO and Swedish for grades 4-6 and a Swedish teaching license. You have a clear pedagogical insight and the ability to implement the curriculum goals in your work. You have a clear leadership style and are strong in your student groups. You are flexible, structured, and well-prepared. You are a present and co-researching educator who challenges and stimulates students to develop. A strong belief in collaboration as a success factor for pedagogical development is a given for you. You have straightforward and humble communication with guardians and create trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

You should be positive and cooperative and ready to join an international team.

In your role, you will teach in Swedish, but we primarily speak English among colleagues, as well as Swedish. This means you need to be fluent in both languages, both spoken and written.
