ABOUT THE POSITION:

Our client is one of the leading suppliers of products, systems, and service solutions in electrical power worldwide. We are currently looking for a service technician/engineer in electrical power service for Gothenburg and are interested in both junior and senior candidates. Your mission will be to provide services that increase operational reliability, availability, and profitability while reducing environmental impact in the client's production facilities. Furthermore, our client covers the entire lifecycle of the facility and helps their customers work with continuous improvements.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Engaging in corrective and preventive maintenance of UPS, relay protection, and other equipment in substation facilities, with a particular demand for services in the UPS area.
• Participating in commissioning of substations.
• Acting as sales support and resource in quotation work, including upgrades and modifications of power equipment.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:

• Is proficient in both English and Swedish, spoken and written.
• Has a B driver's license.
• Has experience as a service technician/engineer or as an industrial electrician.
• Has a relevant educational background in electrical power.

It is also advantageous if:

• You can read both mechanical and electrical drawings and are also a frequent user of measuring equipment in substation environments.
• Experience working with similar products, including ABB's power products, is advantageous.
• Experience in facility construction, commissioning, and testing is advantageous.
• Knowledge of UPS and relay protection is advantageous.

As a person, you are social, meticulous, and always prioritize safety at work. You have a good sense of humor and an open and empathetic attitude towards customers and colleagues. Since travel is part of the job, it is important that you enjoy a mobile lifestyle.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT:

For this assignment, you will initially be employed by us at Friday and work as a Consultant for the client. The ambition is for you to transition to employment with the client after 9-12 months.
