We are now looking for an experienced network technician for our client in Gothenburg!

About the assignment:

Our client is facing many exciting projects and challenges. In this journey, IT plays an incredibly important role. Data has never been as important as it is today, and being able to share, collect, and use data is a key component for our client's product areas.

In this role as a network technician, you will belong to a team that jointly drives various tasks across different areas. As a result, it is important to have broad knowledge and a great interest in continuously deepening your knowledge in networking. Some of the assignments will be carried out in project form, and in these, you will have the opportunity to act as a technical advisor, and if interested, you may also partially take on the role of project manager.

In this position, you will be responsible for the operation, development, and upgrades of systems to ensure that the environments meet the recommended security and functional requirements. Our client also places great importance on you and your colleagues constantly striving to maintain updated knowledge of the latest developments and BI in the field. Evening work may occur in the position to carry out planned service activities.

Examples of tasks:

· Build and manage the network structure in a team

· Work with a high security mindset and follow requirements regarding this

· Work on both smaller and larger assignments

Your profile:

As a person, it is important that you are curious and feel a drive to contribute to the business. For you, IT is probably as much a lifestyle as a job. You easily switch between different tasks and have good prioritization skills, where the goal is your team's long-term objectives. You should enjoy collaborating and treat other people with respect and understanding, as you will daily interact with both colleagues and clients. Since you will have colleagues in other parts of the world, it is important that you are proficient in both Swedish and English in both spoken and written form. A driver's license (B) is also a requirement, as travel between our client's offices may occur.

We further believe that you are solution- and project-oriented, pedagogical, and “service-minded.” We prefer that you have at least 5 years of experience in networking, especially in security functions, or that you are very eager to develop in this area.

To thrive in the role, we prefer that you have:

· A relevant university degree or several years of experience in similar work

· Certification and/or experience with any of Cisco, Checkpoint, Fortinet, Citrix, and F5

· Experience in scripting and automation

· Experience delivering IT solutions in networking as an internal or external provider to multiple clients

· Ability to translate security requirements such as NIST and CMMC into other technical solutions

We also see it as an advantage if you have:

· Experience working according to ITIL and ISO 27001

· Documented experience with NSX, Ansible, and CyberArk

· Worked according to project management processes and frameworks

Other:

In this role, you will be employed as a consultant at NXT Interim and are expected to work full-time (40h/week) at our client's office in Gothenburg or Jönköping.

The position requires that you undergo and be approved according to the current regulations for security protection. For positions where our client has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, involve requirements for certain citizenship.
