The Role of Urotherapist

In the role of urotherapist, you will work with the investigation and treatment of bladder and bowel dysfunction in women and, together with other professionals, investigate and rehabilitate pelvic floor dysfunction after childbirth. You will be part of our urogynecological team and have planned patient appointments at several of our clinics in the county. You will teach and support healthcare staff within your area of expertise.

With us, you will be part of a collaboration with several colleagues and teams, where you will receive support from experienced urotherapists in the region.

The position is full-time and your working hours are scheduled for weekdays.

Your Future Workplace

At the county's women's clinics, we work with health and medical care during pregnancy and childbirth, postnatal care, gynecological diseases, as well as abortion and contraceptive services and youth reproductive health. We have a regional responsibility for women with complicated pregnancies and threatened premature births. Youth clinics and Women's Health Care are part of the Women's Clinic. We are committed and work development-oriented to continuously improve for our patients.

Your Profile

We are looking for a licensed nurse with further education in urotherapy. Since travel between our clinics is required for the position, a driver's license is a must.

With us, you will meet patients in various situations, so it is important that you have an understanding of differences, can communicate easily, and adapt your message pedagogically based on the recipient's conditions. You manage your own work in a structured way and plan your work with the patient's and the organization's best interests in focus. We work in teams and value good collaboration skills and a desire to see results. We view positively that you take initiative in your work and in shaping the role.
