JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you an empathetic and committed nurse who wants to make a difference in people's lives? We are looking for several nurses for our appreciated care and nursing homes in Gävle Municipality. With us, you will have the opportunity to provide person-centered and quality care. Together, we work for a holistic view of the patient and make Gävle safer.

As a nurse in our care and nursing homes, you will work closely with your nursing colleagues. You will work in teams together with other care staff, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. Together, you will promote the patient's health and well-being. You and your nursing colleagues share the care responsibility for all patients in the residence. Part of the work is independent. You are genuinely interested in working with elderly people.

Your primary tasks include performing health and medical interventions, conducting assessments, documentation, and registration in various quality registers. In your daily work, you will also supervise care staff and students. You will plan and follow up on care interventions and inspire and motivate staff to take responsibility for care work. Through your engagement, you create good relationships. You will assess the patient's condition, perform tests, infusions, dressings, and provide end-of-life care. Rounds of patients occur at the listed health center with the responsible doctor. Health and medical documentation is done in Treserva, planning is done in TES. Lifecare is used for communication between care providers.

As a nurse, you also have a responsibility to contribute to the continuous development and improvement of the operations. The position is primarily daytime work, but the schedule includes evening and weekend shifts. You will then work in our consulting operations, which include the municipality's care and nursing homes, home care, and service and group homes within LSS and social psychiatry. We conduct ongoing interviews during the application period.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse and have a few years of experience in the profession. It is advantageous if you have experience in municipal health and medical care and are familiar with documentation. A B driver's license and driving experience are required for the position. If you know Treserva, TES, Lifecare, Pascal, and NPÖ, it is desirable, as well as if you have any further education in the field.

In your role as a nurse, you need to see what needs to be prioritized. You are efficient and use resources in the best way to achieve good results. We appreciate if you take your own initiatives, are brave, and have the ability to differentiate between issues and people. You have the ability to find alternative solutions to emerging problems. We offer you a varied job that requires you to be flexible and quickly adapt and make decisions based on the needs of the patient and the operations. You conduct work in a patient-safe manner and take initiative and responsibility for your tasks.

As you are the link to relatives and other care staff, you are good at creating and maintaining good relationships, both internally and externally. You have an unpretentious approach in your collaboration with others. It is easy for you to adapt and be flexible in different situations, and you have the ability to change your perspective and approach.
