Furan is looking for a housing supervisor for 70-80% for a longer temporary position starting in February at our LSS accommodation in Bodbyn.

The work includes day, evening, weekend, and on-call duties.

We are looking for extra staff and summer substitutes for all accommodations at Furan.

Your responsibilities

Based on a humanistic view of people, you will be involved in the work at an LSS accommodation where people with intellectual disabilities live. Each tenant has their own influence, participation, and self-determination in their lives. Great emphasis is placed on approach and attitude.

The integrity of each individual must be respected to provide every tenant with a good living environment and a rich leisure time. The work is characterized by a solution-focused approach. Furan is located in a picturesque Bullmark, about thirty kilometers outside Umeå. The LSS accommodation includes five tenants who live in their own apartments, in the same building with common areas.

Many of our tenants at Furan are animal lovers, which means we have a cat at the accommodation and various animals in Furan's daily activities.

You will be part of a team, which requires you to have a good ability to collaborate with others. It requires personal responsibility regarding contacts with others in the tenant's social network, and it is important to understand that we work with assignment descriptions and quality requirements.

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant, leisure educator, or has equivalent education based on the requirements of the operation. You are social, ambitious, enjoy challenges, and are flexible. You should be able to work both independently and in a group, have great patience, and be interested in both care work and nursing work. Since the job involves documentation, we prefer that you have computer skills.

We also appreciate if you have previous experience working with people with intellectual disabilities, and if you can use sign language, it is an advantage.

You must have a driver's license and access to a car as transportation is limited in Bodbyn/Bullmark.
