Description

We are looking for a Senior Accounting Consultant for an exciting staffing assignment within a non-profit organization.

The assignment will focus on supporting the accounting group and contributing to the development of financial processes within the organization. The consultant will work closely with the accounting team and participate in complex accounting and development issues.

Responsibilities

• Support the accounting group in advanced accounting issues and financial processes.
• Participate in and/or drive development work within the financial area.
• Work independently and proactively in close collaboration with the organization.
• Conduct ongoing monthly reconciliations with the client to discuss progress and adjustments to the work.
• Ensure that the accounting operations consider and promote innovation in working methods and system usage.
• Actively work on knowledge transfer and ensure that knowledge and experiences are transferred to the organization.

Qualifications

Must-have:

• Relevant higher education in finance.
• At least 10 years of experience in qualified accounting work in a larger organization (more than 500 employees).
• Deep knowledge of accounting processes, VAT in the non-profit sector, annual accounts, consolidated accounts, and taxation.
• Experience working with financial and business systems, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Good IT skills, primarily in Excel.

Meritorious

• Experience from auditing and experience in labor-intensive service operations.
• Management experience and experience in coaching.

Personal qualities

• Self-driven and proactive with the ability to drive work forward with minimal supervision.
• Strong collaborative skills and the ability to build good relationships.
• Structured and efficient in organizing work.
• Good pedagogical ability and communicative skills to adapt messages to the target audience.
• Solution-oriented and flexible.

Conditions

The scope of the assignment is initially 50%, with the possibility of increasing to 100% during the contract period.

The assignment starts with a period of six months, with the possibility of monthly extensions, up to October 31, 2026.

Opportunity for hybrid work after introduction, depending on the organization's needs.

The assignment is in Stockholm, but remote work may occur to some extent.

The consultant must ensure that all work materials are available to the client according to current procedures.

The consultant must document their work digitally and actively work on knowledge transfer.
