What will you be doing?

As a driver at Mathem, you are the face of the company and are responsible, together with our warehouse staff, for ensuring that customers receive whole, fresh, and correct goods. Together, you form the most important parts of delivering the best experience to the customer.

Our drivers' main tasks are to make deliveries to our customers' homes. The workday begins at our Distribution Point (Dip), where you meet the management and your colleagues and pick up the key to the vehicle you will drive for the day.

During a workday, you will meet between 20-35 customers. No day is the same, and as a driver, you constantly change environments. Deliveries often take place in the city but also in less densely populated areas. You will have a handheld computer with a pre-programmed GPS and the route list for the day to assist you. The routes are set according to the delivery intervals chosen by the customers.

What are the requirements for the role?

To be considered for the position, you must meet the following requirements:

• Hold a B driver's license for at least 12 months
• Good physical condition, as the job involves heavy lifting and climbing stairs
• Good level of Swedish, as communication via phone occurs daily
• Driving experience with larger vehicles (light truck or van)

Personal qualities

To be considered, you should feel confident behind the wheel, whether you are in a narrow residential area or in rush hour in the city. You are a role model in traffic, have a strong safety mindset, and show great consideration for your fellow road users. Furthermore, you are responsible and self-driven.

You enjoy working physically and thrive in a fast-paced workplace where a lot happens. Since workdays can look very different, you should also be flexible, punctual, stress-resistant, and problem-solving. It is also important that you enjoy meeting customers and providing high service. As an employee with us, you will constantly be in contact with others, so it is important to be a good communicator.

Location: Gothenburg/Hisingen

Scope: Part-time 5–80%, mostly distributed over 1–5 days a week. We are looking for both morning and evening shifts.

Employment type: Permanent employment with an initial 6-month probationary period

Start date: Immediately

Salary: Fixed hourly wage according to collective agreement (Warehouse & E-commerce)
