Light Bureau is an independent lighting design agency with a team of multidisciplinary lighting experts. For over 25 years, we have utilized both light and darkness to design unique and sustainable lighting projects that enhance the visual environment, many of which have received international recognition. We operate globally and work closely with our clients, who are established in both the private and public sectors.

Light Bureau is a proud part of AFRY – an international company in engineering, design, and consulting. We are now looking for a project manager lighting designer who wants to help continue creating joy at work and great business.

Job Description

As a lighting designer, you will work on projects and collaborate with a competent and dedicated team. In your role, you will be responsible for the design of exterior lighting systems, which includes drawing management, sizing of lighting installations, preparation of technical documents, and direct contact with clients. We see you as someone who is passionate about electricity and wants to develop in the field of lighting.

Qualifications

To succeed as a lighting designer with us, you should have:

• A university or college degree in electrical engineering or similar.

• Basic knowledge of CAD.

• You are expected to speak and write fluently in Swedish and be able to communicate in English.

• An ability to build trust and a willingness to collaborate to achieve common goals.

It is also advantageous if you have:

• Experience in previous consulting work within the design of exterior environments.

• Practical experience in electrical installation.

• Knowledge of calculation programs for lighting and electrical dimensioning.

• Basic knowledge of AMA EL and Construction.

• Knowledge of BIM/CAD coordination.
