Stenungsund municipality is an expanding coastal municipality with approximately 27,800 inhabitants, a strong business community, residential environments close to the sea, and good communication opportunities. The municipality is organized into an administration with four sectors. The Social Services sector includes 4 operations: special housing/municipal health and medical care, individual and family care, ordinary housing/personal assistance, and disabilities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an employee, you play an important role in creating a meaningful everyday life for individuals, attending to each user's individual needs and conditions. The goal is for each care recipient to live a dignified life and feel well-being. The working method should lead to good and safe care where the tenant achieves meaningfulness, comprehensibility, and manageability in their life situation through influence and participation.

You will work based on contact management and implementation plans and have close collaboration with other professional categories such as rehabilitation staff, nurses, and doctors. The work includes documentation and performing health and medical care tasks by delegation.

• You are skilled at motivating care recipients to preserve abilities and independence.
• You contribute to a positive atmosphere in the workgroup and foster positive development for the organization.

• You share your knowledge with other colleagues.
• Since documentation is an important part of our work, you must be able to express yourself both verbally and in writing.
• You should be familiar with applicable legislation and know the national guidelines for care and support for dementia.
• You are either a nursing assistant or studying to become one. You have experience in dementia care and caregiving.

We work with daily structure and mapping systems, which contribute to a better work environment and greater continuity for our care recipients. We do this through structured daily planning that includes a clear and even distribution of responsibilities during the work shift.
