About the Unit

The Southern Military Region (MR S) is a military unit located in Revingehed. We are now looking for a security officer for the staff, which consists of continuously serving officers and civilian employees. Together with the regional staff, the commander of the Southern Military Region (C MR S) leads subordinate units, collaborates with regional and local actors, directs security and intelligence services, and supports operational and tactical commanders in solving tasks within the region.

The staff of the Southern Military Region consists of functions J0-J9. Staff members have individual responsibilities but are expected to contribute to all functions in close collaboration and with a high degree of personal accountability. As a security officer, you will be part of the security department and will be supervised by the security chief.

At the workplace, active efforts are made to ensure high satisfaction and a good working environment. As an employee, you have the right to train during work hours for three hours per week. Adjacent to the workplace, there are two fully equipped gyms and exercise tracks. We offer flexible working hours to facilitate a good balance between work and private life for our employees.

Main Responsibilities

As an officer in the intelligence/security department, you will focus on internal security service. Your work will involve supporting the security chief, IT security chief, and operational managers across all units within the organization. Responsibilities include physical security, information and IT security, signal protection, and personnel security. You will work proactively and actively with security protection services within the organization. Advising employees and managers is a natural part of your daily work.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

  • Current and relevant work experience in security protection services or another area deemed equivalent
  • Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing, both in Swedish and English
  • Proven administrative skills in information systems
  • High school education with passing grades
  • Driving license B

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education in the information system ISUS
  • Experience in conducting security protection planning
  • Experience in training and lecturing, staff work
  • Post-secondary education in the security protection field
  • Experience in government work
  • Experience in investigations related to personnel security
  • Experience with the Armed Forces or Security Police regulations regarding security protection
  • Education/experience in any of the areas of information security/personnel security or physical security

Other Information

Employment type: Permanent employment starting with a six-month probationary period.
Employment rate: Full-time. Evening and weekend work may occur. Travel with overnight stays may occur in the position.
Work location: Revingehed.
Start date: By agreement.
