Signode in Burseryd is part of a global group manufacturing and selling packaging materials and machine solutions for packaging. Signode has approximately 7000 employees globally, of which about 2000 are in Europe. In Sweden, we have 160 employees, and a large portion works at our factory in Burseryd. Here, we manufacture steel strapping products for a variety of customers. We have 125 employees in Burseryd, and production occurs from daytime to continuous operations.

As a machine operator with us, you will manufacture and package steel straps. The work is independent and requires great personal commitment and technical interest. To succeed as a machine operator, you need to have a safety mindset, be quality-conscious, be able to absorb relevant information, and work proactively. In the role of machine operator, you are responsible for the entire process, from changeovers to startup and unloading. You are also responsible for performing quality checks and reporting production outcomes daily. Working hours may vary from daytime to 5-shift, so it is essential that you are flexible with your working hours. As a person, you are meticulous, responsible, and positive. Since the work is primarily done in pairs, good collaboration skills are important.

Meritorious:

• Experience as a Team Leader
• Forklift and overhead crane license

Requirements:

• Experience in manufacturing industry, especially steel industry
• Driving license B
