Investigations, analyses, and customer contact
As a claims investigator, you are an employee of the state with the mission to investigate that the right person receives the right compensation at the right time. When you work with occupational injury insurance, you will be in contact with individuals who have been injured at work in various ways. Due to their injuries, they apply for compensation for dental care, special aids, medical care abroad, or loss of income. In your work, you assess whether the individual is entitled to compensation according to the Occupational Injury Insurance Act by conducting qualified investigations and analyses of documentation, primarily medical statements. You then present proposals for decisions that are made by specially appointed decision-makers. Contact with individuals occurs via phone and in writing. You gather information and collaborate with employers, doctors, dentists, and trade unions. As a claims investigator, you handle confidential information, which places higher demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a high level of security awareness.

We are looking for someone who

• has a university degree or experiences and qualifications that can be deemed equivalent
• is confident and trustworthy, even in stressful situations
• acts on their own initiative and takes responsibility to achieve good results
• has a systematic and meticulous working method
• can understand and analyze complex issues
• has good communication skills, both verbally and in writing
• collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals
• has experience in professionally meeting people in difficult situations
• has worked with investigations and made decisions that affect individuals
• has a good ability to use a computer as a working tool.

It is advantageous if you have

• worked with investigations and made decisions that affect individuals
• good knowledge of how to professionally meet people in various life situations
• knowledge of income qualifying for sickness benefits and sickness benefits
• experience in reviewing medical documentation
• experience in income investigations.

Several positions, permanent, full-time, with start date as agreed. A probationary period may be relevant.
