Operations Technician/Mechanic Wanted at St1 Biokraft in Högbytorp

St1 Biokraft in Högbytorp is looking for an engaged Operations Technician/mechanic with a knack for hands-on work who wants to contribute to a sustainable future by ensuring efficient and safe operation of the facility.

About the Position

We are looking for someone who is meticulous, technically inclined, and has strong problem-solving skills. Your Main Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

Hands-on work with the operation and maintenance of the facility.
Systematic troubleshooting and ongoing monitoring of the facility's various process steps.
Taking responsibility for parts of the facility's processes and equipment.
Being part of the emergency response organization for acute operational stops and fault handling.
Welding may be required.
Operating wheel loaders, forklifts, and overhead cranes.
Performing cleaning tasks and using high-pressure washers.
Resolving technical issues and providing improvement suggestions for the facility's operations and processes.
Other tasks as required within the department or company.

Who Are You?

Preferred Qualifications:

High school education or equivalent experience in operations and maintenance.
Good knowledge of operational monitoring and optimization.
Strong understanding of rounds and maintenance actions within operations and mechanical equipment.
Experience in operations and maintenance work, preferably from the energy, water, wastewater, or industrial sectors.
A background in the installation industry (HVAC, Electrical, control and regulation technology) is also a plus.
Class B driver's license.
Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Basic knowledge of maintenance of mechanical equipment and an interest in disassembling and repairing equipment.
