We at Q in Mälardalen AB are now looking for qualified and motivated Train Mechanics/Technicians for our client.

With us, you will work with some of the most advanced train vehicles and contribute to keeping Sweden's railways in top condition. You will be a team member in our dynamic environment where safety and quality are at the forefront.

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on trains and associated systems, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components.
• Identify and resolve technical issues through diagnostics and troubleshooting using modern tools and methods.
• Work on both urgent and planned maintenance efforts to ensure operational reliability and extend the lifespan of our trains.
• Document all work performed in our maintenance system to ensure full traceability and safety standards.
• Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and staff to quickly and effectively solve challenges.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a technical education, preferably with a focus on vehicle technology, mechanics, or electrical engineering.
• Has previous experience as a mechanic, preferably within railways, heavy vehicles, industry, or similar.
• Possesses good knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
• Is accustomed to reading and interpreting technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.
• Is quality-conscious, meticulous, and has a safety mindset that permeates everything you do.
• Has a valid B driver's license (C license and certification for railway vehicles is a plus).
• Speaks and writes fluently in Swedish (additional language skills are an advantage).
