Description

We are looking for a teacher for one of our preschool classes. You are welcome to have qualifications that extend from preschool class to grade 3.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

You are one of the first people students meet in the school world, and it is usually you that most students will remember for the rest of their lives. Students are at an age when their curiosity is often at its peak, and it is you who has the responsible task of introducing them to the world of school. At the same time, you also lay the foundation for their future learning and desire for continued education. We want all students in the school to feel safe and comfortable to learn and to feel a sense of belonging with staff and other students. All students want to succeed, and we work to meet each individual student. It is important that you are a secure person with an approach that aligns with the school's core values.

We expect you to have an openness towards meeting students and adults from different backgrounds and circumstances. Since we work in teams, your ability to collaborate and be adaptable is very important. You are skilled at communicating with both children and adults and are used to adjusting your communication based on the situation and purpose. You can use digital tools in teaching. Interest and knowledge in special education are advantageous.

You are well acquainted with the school's governing documents and can apply them in daily work. You should have an inclusive perspective and the ability to see how the individual student's needs can best be met. You take responsibility for your assignment and your tasks and actively contribute to the development of the organization. You are self-sufficient, can make your own decisions, and have good judgment in handling both small and large matters.
