About the role as group leader

We are looking for someone who has worked for a few years as a gardener and wants to take the next step in their career. You will have a central role in leading, distributing, and performing the daily work for your team, which means you will be responsible for green space maintenance and winter maintenance in a municipal property company in Norrort.

You will grow in the role with your own responsibility while being able to bring out the joy and drive in those you lead. It is a given that you enjoy being outdoors, and you perform your job with commitment and professional pride. Daily tasks consist of lawn mowing, planting, pruning, weeding, cleaning, snow removal, etc.

You will ensure that the work is performed according to the schedule and quality requirements, coordinate the team to ensure a smooth work process. In your role, you will also report progress and any issues to the supervisor, as well as ensure that all safety regulations are followed. You will also be responsible for supervising youth/summer workers for a period during the summer. We are looking for someone with good leadership skills and a strong ability to communicate and collaborate with various parties.

As a person, you are service-oriented, responsible, flexible, and can work both independently and in a team. You have a positive attitude and a drive to see projects through to completion. You know what good service means and always strive to be one step ahead. You are expected to have the ability to take initiatives and to plan, execute, drive, and prioritize tasks independently. Being organized and structured is a given for you. On-call duty occurs on a rotating schedule.

What are our requirements for your competence?

At least completed upper secondary education with a focus on gardening or similar.
If you lack gardening education, it is acceptable if you have at least five years of work experience in tasks corresponding to outdoor environment maintenance.
B driver's license.
Good knowledge of plant identification and pruning.
Good leadership skills and the ability to motivate your team to achieve common goals.
Knowledge of safety regulations and work environment rules, as well as the ability to work independently and take initiatives.
Good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.
You should be comfortable with digital tools.

If you have experience with chainsaws, brush cutters, hot work, and similar, it is an advantage.

The position should be filled as soon as possible and is full-time. Permanent employment - with a 6-month probation period. The group is based in Solna.
