Project Manager Road in Gävle

We are looking for an experienced road project manager to lead contracts within road maintenance in Gävle. The assignment involves project managing a variety of contracts during the contract period, such as fence replacements, drainage, alley contracts, paving contracts, and BAS contracts. The role includes ensuring that all contracts are executed according to the agreed contract.

Responsibilities:

✔ Drive, lead, and coordinate the work in the projects according to established working methods and governing documents.

✔ Together with the project organization and central support resources, initiate, prepare, and be responsible for the implementation and follow-up of the projects, focusing on time, cost, content, quality, safety, working environment, and environment.

✔ Ensure that necessary operational meetings are held, such as construction meetings, start meetings, and production meetings.

✔ Be responsible for following up and analyzing errors and disturbances in the road facility.

✔ Document the need for actions in the facility and ensure that they are included in current plans for the operation.

✔ Participate in the preparation of tender documents and procurement of contracts.

✔ Be responsible for external contacts with the public, municipalities, and other stakeholders within the project.

✔ Support other departments within your VO as well as other VOs, based on technical competence and knowledge of the facility's status.

Competence Requirements:

✔ At least 3 years of work experience as a project manager in public roads (Experience should not be older than 10 years). (Verified via CV)

✔ Knowledge of laws, regulations, standards, and directives within the relevant area. (Verified via description)

✔ Completed training to act as the Client's construction work environment coordinator (BAS-P and BAS-U). (Verified by course certificate)

✔ Current practical knowledge in Contract Law as well as AMA construction and MER construction. (Verified via description)

✔ At least 2 years of work experience as a project manager for maintenance contracts on public roads, including follow-up of winter measures. (Verified via CV and reference assignments)

✔ Experience as a client in project managing the preparation of tender documents, procurement, and implementation of at least 2 construction procurements. (Verified via CV)

✔ Ability to express oneself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. (Verified via yes/no)

✔ Experience from working in project groups where coordination has been an important part. (Verified via description)

✔ B driver's license
