Technical Salesperson and Project Manager, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) – ABB Electrification, Power Protection

Your role and responsibilities

ABB Electrification is one of the leading suppliers of products, systems, and services in electrical power worldwide. The market is growing, and we need to expand our team. At ABB Electrification Service, we strive to be close to our customers and are represented in several locations across Sweden – from Gällivare in the north to Malmö in the south. We are currently looking for someone who wants to deepen their knowledge in the area of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and join our growth journey within the Power Protection team, based in Kista. For this position, we have a long-term plan where you will have excellent opportunities to familiarize yourself with the technology and our offerings together with our Power Protection team.

After building a solid product knowledge, a natural next step is to take on more responsibility. Our mission within the Power Protection team is to design, integrate, and deliver, as well as provide services that enhance operational reliability, availability, and profitability while reducing risks in the customer's production facilities. We cover the entire lifecycle of the facility and help our customers work with continuous improvements.

This position reports to the Marketing & Sales Manager.

In this role, you will be an important part of our growth journey in uninterruptible power, UPS. Here are examples of responsibilities in the role:

• You will work closely with our Power Protection team involved in the design, packaging, and sales of UPS solutions.
• You will work both as a salesperson and mini project manager where you receive customer calls/inquiries, understand customer requirements, and prepare bids for customers with the right technical solution while leading the entire journey with customers from inquiry to delivery/handover to the customer together with your colleagues in the UPS team (Manager, planners, and technicians).
• You will have contact with suppliers and partners to find the best technical solution for the customer.
• For the right person, there are excellent development opportunities to work more towards project management, system technical design, or team leadership.
• You will be based at the ABB office (Kista).
• You share ABB's fundamental values regarding safety and integrity, which means you take responsibility for your own actions while also feeling responsible for your colleagues and the business.

Qualifications for the role

• You are a driven and curious person who takes pride in your commitment and delivering results.
• You have post-secondary education in electrical engineering/electrical engineer/control engineer and previous experience as a salesperson for comprehensive electrical solutions for industry/data centers/critical facilities.
• If you have previous experience with UPS, batteries, and DC systems, that is a strong advantage. Experience in sales is highly meritorious.
• You want to deepen your knowledge and develop within the UPS area.
• You have a B driver's license and are accustomed to using a computer and the Office suite in your work.
• You are fluent in both English and Swedish, spoken and written.
• As a person, you are meticulous and technically interested with an open and empathetic attitude towards customers and colleagues, driven by the desire to further develop.
