The Signals Protection Section is suitable for you who are responsible, solution-oriented, structured, and can occasionally handle a high work pace with multiple tasks running in parallel. The Signals Protection Section is a young section within an authority that is experiencing significant growth. This places high demands on you to have a strong drive, be good at taking your own initiatives, and easily adapt to changes. We are a small team that works very closely together to solve our tasks, so your ability to collaborate is fundamental.

As a Security Protection Officer at the Signals Protection Section, you will be responsible for supporting the various tasks and preparedness tasks that the section has towards the Headquarters' international operations.

For example, the tasks include:

  • Identifying, planning, and implementing various projects aimed at strengthening the signals protection service.

  • Participating in the work to develop and improve the signals protection service internationally.

Qualifications

  • High school education
  • Good technical proficiency
  • Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English
  • Driving license B

Meritorious

  • Experience in signals protection
  • Experience in information management
  • Experience working with classified information
  • Trained signals protection instructor and/or signals protection manager
  • Relevant academic education

  • Completed military service, GMU, or previous engagement in a volunteer organization

Personal Attributes

A prerequisite for you to thrive with us is that you can handle a periodically high workload and are adaptable with the ability to see the bigger picture. We would like you to be ambitious, have a strong drive, and be curious. Skills such as identifying, analyzing, and creating solutions are fundamental for you to thrive with us.

We at the Signals Protection Section are very solution-oriented and are driven forward by identifying new challenges that lead to improvement. Due to the section's support function towards the Headquarters, you will have a lot of contact with both internal and external parties, which requires you to have very good social skills, enjoy collaborating, and be service-oriented. Due to the section's support function, we are also a first-line contact for a large part of the Armed Forces' personnel stationed abroad. This results in coordination work for both high and low issues to provide necessary and effective support to simplify the work for those stationed abroad.

You are a driven team player who takes initiative and turns thought into action. You also have a positive attitude and a structured way of working. You have a high security awareness and a strong sense of responsibility. The position involves many business trips, both international and national, often with short notice, as well as work during irregular hours.
