On behalf of our client, Sibe Construction is looking for an experienced estimator in civil engineering. You will independently manage the bidding process from start to finish.
The position is a key role at our client’s company, and you will be responsible for bids, estimating work, and purchasing within land and civil engineering. Your tasks will include organizing and administering the bidding and quotation flows with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers. The business is based on a mix of smaller projects and larger, more complex contracts. You will become part of a well-knit team with skilled colleagues.

Your Background:

You have worked for a considerable time in civil engineering and have good experience in estimating work and purchasing. Knowledge of contract and purchasing law, AMA/MER/RA - Civil Engineering is a requirement. We also expect you to have practical experience in contracting. You currently work with estimating software, such as BidCon, and you are proficient in the Office suite, primarily Word and Excel. In other words, you have good computer skills. If you have knowledge of finance, this is an advantage. Experience in contract management and developing timelines is also a plus.
We welcome applicants who have a technical education in contracting, land, and civil engineering. Fluent Swedish in both speech and writing is a requirement.
