About the role as a Solar Installer

As a Solar Installer at Brion Solenergi AB, you will have a varied workday where you will work on large commercial projects. Builtech Group holds majority shares in the Brion Group, which means you will have a familiar workplace with friendly colleagues and a large established company that provides security in the background.

You and your closest colleague and leading installer will start from the office in Eklanda and then go together to the construction site. The projects can vary in size and take about 1-3 weeks. You will be involved throughout the entire process, from reviewing drawings to installing the solar panels ready for use. You will follow the supervisor's instructions and have tasks such as installing rails, ladders, cables, and finally the solar modules. The work is physical and involves using your body and working outdoors, regardless of whether it is sunny or rainy. Overnight stays may occur.

Your profile

To take on the role of Solar Installer, you need to be practically inclined and enjoy working outdoors. Since it is a small team, we place great importance on your personality. You need to be handy and a problem solver who takes responsibility for your work and has good communication skills with your colleagues. You need to be attentive to your leading installer but also take the initiative to perform the work in the best way.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of work experience as a solar installer for commercial projects.
• Driving license B
• Fluent in Swedish

Meritorious

• Team leader or leading solar installer.
• Practical background, such as carpenter, roofer, scaffolder, sheet metal worker, or similar.
• Work experience on construction sites.
• Work at heights.
• Safe lifting.
• Lift certificate.
• Hot work certification
• English, spoken & written.
• Electrical training.
