Boxholm Municipality now offers students in 9th grade and in the 1st and 2nd years of high school the opportunity to gain work experience and earn their own money. To apply for a summer job, you must be registered in Boxholm Municipality.

Summer jobs are offered in the following areas:

• childcare
• elderly care
• treatment and care, summer camp (provided that funding is secured).
• cleaning
• library
• street/park
• property maintenance

For students in 9th grade, one week of summer work is offered, and for high school students, two weeks of summer work. The period for summer jobs extends from week 25 to week 32, but the specific weeks for each workplace may vary. Working hours are 6 hours per day with a 30-minute continuous lunch break.

The number of positions is limited, and if there are fewer summer positions than applicants, the positions will be randomly allocated. You will only receive one offer, and if you decline the offered position, you will not receive any further offers.

Here’s how it works:

1. You express your interest by applying via this ad no later than April 6. In your application, fill in your personal and contact details. Also, indicate your first, second, and third job choices. Write a text introducing yourself.
2. You will receive a response from us via email regarding whether you have been offered a summer position or not.
3. You accept or decline the position.
4. If you accept - and are under 18 years old, you will need a signature from a guardian to work with us - a criminal record extract is required for work with children.
