About the Job

Verdis is responsible for waste collection in Lidingö, with the municipality of Lidingö as our client and partner. We need to strengthen our department with a positive and driven environmental worker with a B driver's license, who can also support the management with various administrative tasks such as handling work orders, etc.

The position is a fixed-term full-time employment until the end of August, with the possibility of continued employment thereafter.

Overall Responsibilities:

As an environmental worker, you play a key role at Verdis. You are our face to the public and become one of our everyday heroes who helps keep Lidingö clean. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that the waste management assignment is carried out in accordance with the company's routines and our client's requirements. You report to the local management.

Your tasks include, among others:

• Collection and transportation of waste
• Delivering bins to new and existing customers
• Administration in Verdis and the client's operational systems
• Handling vehicle computers and RFID equipment
• Reporting deviations
• Daily maintenance/check of vehicles and equipment, as well as cleaning them when necessary

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a B driver's license
• Masters the Swedish language in speech and writing
• Has good computer and system skills as well as strong administrative abilities

It is an advantage if you have:

• Previous experience from similar work
• Experience working with administration in various systems
• Knowledge of digital deviation management
• Local knowledge of Lidingö

You appreciate being outdoors and have no problem working in all weather conditions. As a person, you are service-oriented with good collaboration skills and have a solution-oriented approach. Other Information

Start: Immediately (by agreement)

Scope and Employment Type: Fixed-term full-time employment until the end of August

Working Hours: Our operations are running Monday to Friday, daytime from 06:30 to 15:30, including public holidays and evenings such as Midsummer Eve

Location: Lidingö
