Jokkmokk Health Center is a well-functioning and well-staffed rural health center in the interior of Norrbotten. In addition to a care unit with 5 beds, the health center has a medical clinic, X-ray, rehabilitation, and an ambulance station. We are a tight-knit team with many dedicated employees from various professional backgrounds.

We are looking for

We are looking for a licensed nurse with good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
It is an advantage if you:
- Have completed a course in emergency care.
- Have good knowledge of the LifeCare and Cosmic journal systems.
- Have experience in primary care, emergency care, and medical ward work.

We place great importance on your personal qualities. You are loyal, stable, and self-driven. You should be able to structure your work and work independently.

What you will be working with

Jokkmokk Health Center is a so-called rural health center with a doctor and district nurse clinic. We have planned visits and emergency services, maternity care, child health care, X-ray, light therapy, a laboratory for sampling, and a care unit with 5 general medical beds. We also have rehabilitation with physiotherapists and occupational therapists. This means that you can follow the patient from different entry points in care through various processes to discharge. Since it is 10 miles to the nearest hospital, we handle most issues around the clock, from small cuts to acute chest pain.

Information about the position

As we want to strengthen our staffing, we are looking for another star to join our team. We offer you full-time employment. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, nights, and weekends, which we plan in the scheduling tool Time Care in 5-week periods. You have the opportunity to influence how your working hours are arranged. You also have the opportunity to work in the clinic when you feel ready for on-call duties or other tasks based on your competence.

Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
