Do you want to be part of creating memorable culinary experiences in the southern Åre mountains? We are now looking for a dedicated Sous Chef at Trillevallens Högfjällshotell for the summer season.
About Trillevallen and Högfjällshotellet
Trillevallen is a mountain-close and family-friendly ski and activity facility in the southern Åre mountains, about 25 kilometers from Åre. Here, tradition meets modernity in a genuine atmosphere, with magnificent opportunities for both winter and summer activities. Our Högfjällshotell has been around since 1939 and consists of 40 rooms (a total of 120 beds), a bar, a dining room, and meeting facilities. Adjacent to the hotel, there is also a ski and activity facility with 8 lifts (including 1 four-seat lift), 22 slopes, a slope restaurant with about 120 seats, and an extensive network of ski and hiking trails.
The Role of Sous Chef
As a Sous Chef with us, you will:
· Plan and lead the kitchen operations at the Högfjällshotellet during the summer season.
· Develop menus that focus on local and regional flavors.
· Ensure quality culinary experiences for our guests – from a simple bar menu to pension dinners.
· Collaborate with the hotel's other departments to create a holistic experience for our guests.
Who We Are Looking For
To thrive and succeed in this role, we would like you to:
· Have relevant education and several years of experience in kitchen work, preferably from hotels or similar establishments.
· Be creative and have a genuine interest in cooking and local ingredients.
· Be structured and able to take responsibility for both planning and execution in the kitchen.
· Have a responsive and solution-oriented attitude and want to contribute to a pleasant and developing workplace.
