Description
Ward 24 is a general psychiatric ward located at S:t Görans hospital area, Kungsholmen, belonging to Northern Stockholm Psychiatry, NSP.
We have specialist competence for patients with personality disorders, autism, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and anxiety disorders.
The ward has 16 care places, and we work according to person-centered care with a focus on the patient's own resources. The patient should be involved in their own care to the greatest extent possible. The goal is short hospital stays and voluntary care. As a nurse, you will be part of a team with doctors, social workers, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and nursing assistants.
Responsibilities
We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a developing environment where you, as a nurse, have a central and important role as a team leader and in developing psychiatric care. As a nurse, you will lead and be responsible for the nursing work and the individual's entire care process. The work involves planning, evaluating, and continuously following up on nursing interventions together with other team members.
The ward is in constant development to be able to offer the best possible care, and we hope you are open to organizational development, new knowledge, and methods.
Qualifications
We are looking for a licensed nurse with an interest in psychiatry and a desire for further education in psychiatric care. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Conditions
Individual schedule with day and evening shifts, working 2 out of 5 weekends.

- background checks are applied before the hiring decision according to applicable guidelines.
- employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to applicable directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
- in addition to Swedish professional licensing, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed staff with patient contact.
