Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What You Will Work On:

• Support and maintain automation systems within large-scale chemical production.
• Lead and execute automation-related activities to enhance system functionality and reliability.
• Participate in projects to ensure compliance with site automation standards and strategies.
• Develop automation solutions that improve operator experience and production output.
• Collaborate with system suppliers to establish routines, documentation, and technical support.
• Integrate automation systems with other production and digitalization tools.
• Work in a learning-oriented team, sharing expertise and supporting colleagues.

What You Bring:

• Degree in a relevant technical field or extensive experience in automation and production environments.
• Expertise in DCS systems, preferably ABB 800xA.
• Experience in system integration and automation support.
• Strong interest in digitalization and continuous improvement.
• Ability to document and communicate effectively in both Swedish and English.
• Solution-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to system reliability.
• Experience in process industries, support operations, and system administration is a plus.
• Familiarity with 800xA, Unicorn, PAS-X, and Oracle is advantageous.
