Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior FPGA Developer to join our dynamic team.

What You Will Work On:

• Contribute to FPGA development for the neutron detector readout chain, ensuring high-performance and reliable signal processing.
• Assist in the deployment, integration, and testing of FPGA-based systems in collaboration with detector, controls, and instrument scientists.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize hardware and firmware design for performance and efficiency.
• Develop and implement test strategies to validate system functionality and reliability.
• Support debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of FPGA-based designs.
• Collaborate on architectural decisions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in hardware development.

What You Bring:

• Proven experience in FPGA development, including VHDL/Verilog programming and hardware debugging.
• Strong understanding of digital signal processing, high-speed interfaces, and embedded systems.
• Experience with FPGA development tools such as Vivado, Quartus, or Libero.
• Knowledge of verification methodologies, simulation tools, and testbench development.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including scientists and engineers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with neutron detector systems or similar scientific instrumentation is a plus.
