We are looking for our next service manager in Hisings Backa who, together with our knowledgeable and dedicated employees, will represent one of the world's strongest brands, where proud and demanding customers are part of your everyday life.
Scania Sverige AB, Region West is responsible for the market in northern Halland, Sjuhäradsbygden, and the Gothenburg region. We have operational sites in Gothenburg, Borås, and Himle. We offer our customers first-class products with accompanying service and service offerings.
Your Responsibilities
Your main responsibility is to develop and lead the workshop's operations and activities to maximize customer and employee satisfaction. For the Service Manager, maintaining and developing customer relationships is a natural part of everyday life, and our service should inspire great confidence among our customers.
You are responsible for shaping your leadership, recruiting and planning staff, and developing a strong sustainable team that strives towards set goals. You own the business results and are responsible for operational management; forecasting, results, and follow-up. The Service Manager is responsible for the safety, health, and work environment of the operations.
The role includes participating in an operational management team together with representatives from vehicle sales, and you will be part of the management team of Scania Region West, contributing to the overall business and development of the region. The operational site in Hisings Backa currently has 35 employees, both unionized and salaried personnel.
Your Profile
Our belief is that results are achieved through people and present leadership. You are therefore a team player who possesses a good ability to create and maintain relationships while having a strong drive and interest in good customer service and business.
Your leadership is clear, and you have the ability to work both operationally and strategically, with an emphasis on the operational side. To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone with experience in the service market, with an interest in the overall business. This role involves leading and coaching both workshop staff and administrative personnel.
A strong focus is on expanding service sales and growing service offerings for trailers, superstructures, and spare parts.
Education and/or Work Experience:
* Documented managerial/leadership experience
* Good knowledge of the heavy truck and bus industry
* Experience from dealers in the heavy vehicle industry is highly meritorious
* Communicates well in both spoken and written Swedish and English
* A valid B driver's license is required; C and/or D licenses are advantageous
