Restoration Technician at Polygon in Luleå
Polygon Sverige ABNorrbottens län, Luleå
51 days left
to apply for the job
When disaster strikes, we are the ones who step up. As a restoration technician at Polygon, you help people and businesses restore their homes and premises after fires, water damage, and other incidents. It’s a job with purpose, where you see the results of your work every day.
About the position
You will belong to our district in Luleå, but will have the entire Norrbotten coast (the square) as your work area, and work on various types of restoration assignments involving both demolition and asbestos/PCB remediation. A workday at Polygon is varied and exciting as our assignments often come in at short notice. We handle all types of demolitions, restorations, etc., in varying scopes, primarily after fire and water damage in properties, but also in preparation for renovations and reconstructions.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a team, is solution-oriented, and likes to have a job that is both physically demanding and varied. With us, you will receive the right training, a strong team, and the opportunity to make a real difference. Are you the one we are looking for?
In your role as a restoration technician, you will:
- Clean and restore buildings after fire, moisture, and mold damage
- Work with specialized restoration and dehumidification
- Collaborate with colleagues, customers, and insurance companies
- Contribute to a safe and secure work environment
- Learn new techniques and work with modern equipment
Who are you?
We hire people with the right attitude; we can teach you the rest!
We are looking for someone who enjoys physical work, is meticulous, and service-oriented. Experience in restoration or construction is a plus, but we value your attitude and willingness to learn more than your previous experience. You have an eye for detail and enjoy working both independently and in a team.
Your work style is characterized by initiative and drive to complete tasks, and you are genuinely committed to providing the best service to both customers and colleagues. You need to be meticulous and have the mindset that quality is of utmost importance. If you have previous experience in demolitions, restorations, moving, transport, construction/cleaning, carpentry skills, and ASBESTOS/PCB training, that is something we see as an advantage, but it is not a requirement.
What we offer
We are proud of our team spirit and culture at the company, where we all help and support each other, regardless of role. The fact that many employees have worked with us for over 20 years is a testament to our commitment to competence development and career opportunities.
At Polygon, we want our employees to thrive and feel engaged. We do this, among other things, by investing in training and offering a unique range of internal and external courses. We encourage development, engagement, and participation. If you are driven and want to develop further, we have fantastic career opportunities!
Does this sound like the perfect job for you? Then we are probably your dream workplace.
