Restaurant Kärnhuset and Stina's café in Kivik are in the midst of a transformation process where we are reviewing our offerings. We are renovating the restaurant including a newly built bakery and have many exciting plans ahead.

You will work closely with our kitchen and serving staff, baking everything from bread and buns to wonderful pastries. You need to be interested, enjoy innovative thinking, and thrive in a role where you, together with us, drive the development of our offerings.

During parts of the year, the position will also include other tasks within the kitchen and serving besides baking.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a great interest in food and beverages. We place great importance on you being self-driven, structured, and having good ability to collaborate and communicate with both colleagues and guests. You are resilient, interested in development, service-oriented, and flexible.

For you, the importance of control programs and cleaning in a kitchen is of course self-evident.

It is important that you enjoy working in a family-oriented corporate culture and are passionate about delivering wonderful experiences to our customers.

To succeed with us

We see that you are a trained Baker or Pastry Chef with at least 4 years of experience in the profession. If you do not have formal education but have worked your way to professional knowledge, we see that you have several years of experience (7 years or more) from jobs with similar tasks in a bakery or café or similar business.

You simply need to be a star at baking bread, buns, and wonderful pastries and thrive in an environment with many wonderful customers!

You have a good ability to speak and write in Swedish and/or English.

The position

The position is a permanent employment (first 6 months probation) at 100%, but if there is a desire for part-time employment, this can be discussed, but not lower than 50%.

We are open during the day, every day of the week, but the working hours for this position are mainly daytime Monday – Friday. Evening work or work on any holiday may occur on rare occasions, e.g. during events.

Start date according to agreement, preferably as soon as possible! We look forward to you starting with us!
