Capio Vårdcentral Nynäshamn is located in central Nynäshamn, just a 10-minute walk from the commuter train station. We are a medium-sized healthcare center with nearly 12,000 registered patients. Thanks to our location, about 60 km from larger emergency hospitals, we have a wide range of reasons for visits, making the work stimulating and developing. In addition to regular medical and nursing consultations, our healthcare center offers diabetes, asthma/COPD, hypertension, and elderly care clinics. Furthermore, the center also has a psychosocial clinic, home healthcare, and medical foot care.

At the healthcare center, we also have Capio Rehab, BVC, and BMM, with which we have a close collaboration. In the same building, there is Capio Geriatrics with direct admission, Evidia Radiology, and Karolinska Närvårdslaboratorium.

We are looking for someone who primarily wants to work in our home healthcare in close collaboration with our experienced nurses and nursing assistants. We offer stable home healthcare with about 160 registered patients living in both urban and rural environments.

As a physician in home healthcare, you will have the opportunity to work at the top of your competence based on a person-centered approach. The daily work is varied and includes both acute and planned medical assessments, responsibility for medication reviews, and effective teamwork with other professionals.

It is part of the profession that the daily life as a physician can be challenging. Here, we work purposefully to create the best possible conditions for long-term learning and a sustainable work environment. Working as a specialist in general medicine with us involves investigating and treating patients in the clinic and in our home healthcare. Rounds and close dialogue occur between our different professional categories.
